Investing in Our Team and Your Ride Effective: January 1, 2026

At Rays Cycles, our goal is to keep you riding safely while supporting the expert mechanics who make that possible. As we move into 2026, we are updating our service rates to reflect both our commitment to our team and the specialized skills required for professional maintenance.

Starting January 1, 2026, our primary service rates will be: 

• Basic Tune-Up | $100 Includes: Shifting and brake adjustments (front and back), full bolt safety check, chain lubrication, and a frame wipe-down.

• Full Tune-Up | $150 Includes: Everything in the Basic Tune-Up, plus wheel spoke tensioning, lubrication of cables and housing, and no additional labor costs for flat repairs.

• Flat Repairs | Starting at $15 We have kept this rate low to ensure this essential service remains accessible to all riders.

Our Commitment to Our Team
While the California state minimum wage is rising by $0.40 per hour this year, we believe in going further for our staff. To help our mechanics manage the rising cost of living, we are doubling the state-mandated raise for our entire team. 

These increases in labor costs are designed to help our employees directly. 
Revenue generated by these adjustments is dedicated to funding our team’s higher wages and the associated costs of their employment. This allows us to retain the expert staff you trust with your safety and performance, ensuring they earn a wage that reflects their technical expertise.
